With a concept that returns to leaving a quarter at the box-office and going to see movies at your local theater decades ago, Disney has reintroduced the animated short.
And because they can, they've done it in style.
There are shorts here for every age and taste. Among my favorites are How to... a Goofy cartoon, based on the classic series, and using some original backgrounds.
Get a Horse is a wonderful combination (or altercation) between old-fashioned analogue animation (scratches, cue-marks and all) with those lovable early 1930s characters, including Mickey and Minnie, as they meet the digital world.
In some ways reminds me of the wonderful audio transition in Rustler's Rhapsody.
A great selection of short films, and a gift from Disney at $25.
