The Devil's Brigade, not to be confused with The Devil's Rejects, was directed by Andrew McLaglen. It's one of those films about the need for a crack fighting team, and someone has an idea to use prisoners.

Of course, the team turns out to be the best, most perfect, and deadliest team ever assembled.

The Dirty Dozen came out before it, and per Roger Ebert's review, makes it appear that Devil's is copying Dirty, but that's not the case. His review is linked below:

It's routine fare, presented here by Kino Lorber, based upon a master provided by MGM, which more than services the need, while not going to extremes.

It's one of those Blu-rays that good enough, with no problems of note.

That said, if you've seen The Dirty Dozen...

I enjoyed this film when it first came out but I don't think I've seen it a second time.
