I'm waiting for a good price on these. Maybe the next B&N British TV sale? I'd get the UK versions, but they wouldn't work on my Sony BD players.

I'm in the same boat. When do these sales usually occur?

It usually goes Criterion, then British TV, then HBO on consecutive months, doesn't it? There may be a regular TV on DVD sale in there somewhere, too.

Love Coupling.  Have both (were there more than two?) seasons on DVD.  Great series!

Yes, there were 4 series. If you loved the first two and haven't seen 3 & 4 you're in for a treat.
Strangely enough, the series has a big following over at the Powell & Pressburger online community.

I'm a member of several internet forums, some TV/film related and others not.
I think this is one of the very few comments I've read which is negative about the programme.
Nonetheless, each to their own, and pair play to you - I'm glad we don't all have the same tastes.
By the way - last night SM was given the award I mentioned in post 11.
