We have to stay hidden for fear of being beat up by angry LOTR fans. Like I said, I have warmed to them over the years but they're still my least favorite Jackson movies.

That's easy if you don't want the 4K -- don't order from Amazon since it's far cheaper elsewhere,

Finally watch the 4K version last night the soundtrack was amazing. Overall I still think it is a great Kong movie for me it is better then the Peter Jackson's version. I love the whole Apocalypse Now feel of it. Still one of my top 5 movies for 2017.

I may have to sell my set. I watched some of the 4K and while technically great the film just keeps getting exponentially worse. The performances more wooden, the pace more dull, the effects more generic and worst of all...Kong less interesting,. I just don't think I'll be able to stomach watching it again. It's in my bottom 5 of the Year so far. So disappointed.
