Just reviving this thread to inquire: Has anyone contact Dean Cundey to ask his opinion of this Blu-Ray disc?

I contacted Starz Entertainment to ask if they used the Cundey-approved transfer when they manufactured the Blu-Ray Disc and received no response.

I know there has been a lot of controversy regarding this and I would like to see if the cinematographer himself could shed some light of his own and, perhaps, put an end to the pontification which plagues this film.

I tried unsuccessfully to connect with Dean Cundey on a couple of occasions when the DiviMax came out, and then again last year when the Blu was released.

I did communicate with Sandy King Carpenter a while back and she confirmed that John Carpenter was not involved with the DiviMax transfer (which is what I believe the Blu was sourced from).
