UHD Review A few words about...™ Goodfellas -- in 4k UHD Blu-ray

    The opening sequence driving with the "bumping in the trunk" does have a somewhat hazy look. Based on the look of the following shots when the story picks up with young Henry just beginning his life of crime at the cab stand across the street from his house with Ray Liotta's narration, which is pitch-perfect, my conclusion is that the hazy look of the first few minutes is intentional.

    It's nice to see a price drop on a Warner UHD release, but I'm still sticking with the most recent BD release. I'm perfectly happy with that transfer, and my screen size is "only" 70 inches, so based on the comments in this post the UHD version will not be much of an upgrade anyway.
