I first saw parts of Dragonheart as the final dub was being recorded in the Hitchcock Theater at Universal. There were occasional "effects missing" slugs. But what stands out in my memory was some of the low frequency recording, which made the film fun.
Which is what this film is.
Fun.
There's nothing serious going on here. A nice story about a knight and his dragon -- which sounds suspiciously like Sean Connery.
Dragonheart arrives on Blu-ray in what I presume is the 2007 HD transfer, which is acceptable.
A entertaining film, which could have used a new transfer.
