Excellent movie in my opinion at least.

    Questions:

1: Was bagger vance *will smith* an angel , or god himself? There were many things in this movie that led me to believe this.

2: At the end of the movie, did the golfer *the little boy* actually die and bagger was there to take him to heaven?

3: I was thinking morgan freeman could have also done the role of bagger vance, what do you all think?

    1. More like a guiding spirit, to me.

    2. Don't remember, I never made any such connection in the movie though.

    3. Freeman was supposed to have played the role, and Robert Redford was going to play the Matt Damon role. Redford eventually decided he was too old for the role and brought in Damon and Smith instead.

Personally, I agree that Redford is too old, but Bagger Vance could still have been played by Freeman. I like Smith, but Freeman lends a certain gravitas to any role, and would certainly have done a great job here.

Well I guess I didnt need to see this movie anyway...

I had avoided things with this movie with the hopes of seeing it soon...I knew the very minimum about the movie enough to gain an interest...oh well...

Spoiler warnings are a help in subject lines.

No because saying "a few questions" could be a pretty vague determination. You could be asking about parts of the set, the actors, Filming locations, or if the movie was good because the person hadnt seen it. Its really not that big of an issue in the first place, Im over it. Not like some local radio programs that are constantly giving away the endings to movies just to piss the masses off.

But how did smith know a storm was coming, when it was clear as day out.

and how did he know about things damon and the lady talked about on the bench, when he repeated them to damon without even being there for the conversation?
