Image is putting out the 2-hour A&E Doris Day episode of Biography on September 6th. I haven't heard if they're licensing any other episodes yet.

I'd like to see the TV themed biographies appear appear on the proper sets. For example, a few weeks back they showed an excellent 2-hour bio on 'The Brady Bunch'. That would be a hell of an extra on a future 'Brady Bunch' season set. Same goes for any other television show they've covered.

You can get a good number of Biography episodes on Fox Studio Classics releases. I guess that Fox must own A & E or have some sort of arrangement with them. For instance, "Laura" has episodes on Gene Tierney and Vincent Price and "Alexander's Ragtime Band" has one on Alice Faye. It would be great if they could appear on more releases from other studios (like the Brady Bunch one), but studios are not known for sharing their assets.
