Bose TriPort Headphones... I just don't understand it. It's
astonishing... Bose makes something that sounds GOOD! Boggles
the mind. Really, I'm confused. [IMG]

(See? I even used the emoticon! [IMG] )

Well, there is one thing I don't like about them, I paid $150
for this pair of headphones that is now falling apart on me! [IMG] [IMG]

Anyone else here own or have tried a pair of these?

(Note: I got bored, so I decided to come back to HTF and babble. [IMG] )

I have the Bose X model aviation headset.

I think it uses similar noise cancelling technology, but includes a microphone for communication use. The cost of these is $1000, though[IMG]

I don't think they are worth what I paid, but I can say that they are the most comfortable headset I've ever used.

Well, there is no noise-cancelling technology used in these.
These are just like the QuietComfort Headphones that Bose makes,
just without the noise-cancelling stuff... I'm actually working
on replacing them with Koss or AKG studio headphones because
they're built so poorly. Don't ya just love it? Bose finally
makes something that sounds GOOD, and they make it with cheap
plastic and it falls apart in less than a year. Thanks, Bose! [IMG]

F*ck Bose! If I could have my way, every alcohol and tobacco (even though I'm from NC) company would be put out of business, along with the Bose corparation.
If ANYTHING else had killed as many people, either directly or indirectly, as alcolhol and tobacco have, the Federal government would have put a stop to it decades ago. And if any company were ripping off and scamming people as much as Bose, they would have been put out of business. Bose must be making some political payoffs to all the right people. It's really no different than paying for "protection" from the mob!

    Does Bose make can openers?

I might like one of those as long as I didn't have to listen to it.

Some people just have to do it don't they (wreck a thread).. Anyway I do not like Bose speakers and do feel that they are over priced. However, I love their new noise cancelling headphones for $299.00. Are they overpriced.. probably but I tried a bunch lately and they have the best feel and sound so far... and hush hush on outside noise.
