At first I ran just the center off the monoblock, and while the additional detail was nice, running the two mains off them made a HUGE difference in music, which is where I was looking to make the improvement. Once calibrated, the front three blend perfectly for movies and m/c SACD, though my amps are also Marantz and have a nearly identical sound to my receiver (main 3 are identical speakers, w/same wire). While I agree the front three should be as similar as possible in terms of amplification, the 8200/8300 already has a pretty stout amp section, and so far running the center and two surrounds off of it is working perfectly.
