871tb w3-871s vs w30-926s for small full range speakers. (1 Viewer)

I am wanting to get started with the speaker building fun. I've done a couple subs that turned out great thanks to all the help on this forum. Now for a new project. I've read about the tb 871s making great little full range speakers. I was on nuero aucoustics site and saw the 926s for the same price. Stronger motor and twice the x-max. frequence plots looked similiar. Would these work as well or maybe better.

With either driver, if I put two in each speaker, would I even need a crossover of any kind. an impedance of 12-13omhs probably wouldn't hurt anything since they shouldn't be fed too much power anyway.

The are not instock till mid or late January.
I have just got a new email from Billy owner of Nuera and I talked to him about a month ago , as soon as they arrive and he has them on hand I want a pair of them as well as the new 2X3.

Then I will test them against the 871
