    Allan,

Any chance you'll be accepting Mastercard credit cards in the near future?

Sweet! A 4" "subwoofer"! Does anyone know of all the distributors that sell Tangband? I want to find one of these 4's.

    Chris.
I thought you only wanted the Ws if I had 10.
If you want a quote send me a Email personally or contact me by phone.

I will gladly give you a quote.
On shipping ,cheaper than you think.
We go by Canada Post posted rates.plus Insurance.

For a xover for the WS I have one that a person that bought 2 locally has built. And same thing I can email it to you.
I am not getting into building crossover designs for our clearance speakers .This just makes no cents at all.

So, is there any possibility that Nuera might stock a limited quantity of the 4" W4-792SA? That would be excellent. I see using the W4's in a really slim 3-way tower speaker or slim bookshelf speaker. Or maybe I'll retrofit my computer subwoofers.

Yes we wanted the W4-657S over that one as a added driver as the W4-657S has a better over all responce.
    Yes a larger cabinet also.
But, you never know what we are going to get in from TB!!!

    Hank,

    They're still there. The 8" is $43.50 for 1-5 and $34.52 for 6-25.

    So how was you trip?

Brian - yeah I found their "other" web page with the prices.
The Cozumel trip was great - just too short. Saw my first Cozumel sharks in 9 trips there. Also, two big green turtles on one dive. It's great there - nice, happy people - it's always hard to leave, but I'll be going back to the area in a couple of months.

Seems like the 4" woofer has a longer displacement than the others, and it's just so darn cool looking. Also, it goes down 5 Hz lower and it can be used with a TB 3" driver to hit all the way up to 20kHz because the 4's, well, don't. Also, its formidable-looking design suggests that while its RMS excursion is fairly low, its peak excursion could be prodigious, resulting in more thump. Also, using it crossed over at about 350 Hz (one in each speaker, of course) would lower the perceived intermodulation distortion that comes from full-range drivers because the low frequencies are not being handled by the 3" but by the 4" woofer.

Another thing to note is that in the satellites of the THX-certified Logitech Z-560 computer speakers, they use the Tangband W3-594S full-range driver.
