With wife factor, I am looking for thin, good looking speakers without sacrificing quality. My budget is up to $1500. Can anyone recommend me a system (or seperate speakers and not Bose please)?

if you're not opposed to smaller speakers you can get an infinity modulous system off of flea bay for around 700 and then add a pair of the beta towers for the fronts and come in well under that 1500 dollar mark. I've had plenty of experience with these speakers and they sound great. The modulous will be going in my bedroom as soon as i can convince my fiancee that we need surround sound in bed. haha
