7.1 Rear Speaker Placement ? (1 Viewer)

I'm considering going to a 7.1 system and am curious as to the placement of the Rear surrounds ? In the corner angled (45 degrees ?)in towards the listening area or on the back wall firing forward ?

I have mine at the back. I think the L & R surround at the sides would do their work well and if my surround backs were not "centered" at the rear, it might defeat the purpose of having rears. Confusing huh?

I have my surround back channels (Paradigm Atom - monopoles) angled in from the sides.
