http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/...n2165871.shtml Rest in peace, Ed.
Sad news. Didn't know he was ill. I have to admit, when the radio news started off with "CBS news legend dies..." I first thought of Cronkite.
i don't know if 60 minutes has the ability to keep replacing these legends.
always liked Ed, especially after Harrison Ford joked around that he got his ear ring because Ed Bradley got one and was considered "cool". Just sounded like he was a cool guy. sad news.
> i don't know if 60 minutes has the ability to keep replacing these legends. They seem to have more reporters than air time- if each does one story per week, there isn't enough time to fit them all in. Don't forget they just added Katie Couric.
Damn...he was always a professional. I'll miss him. When one is discussing the "legends" of CBS News, Katie Couric hardly can be mentioned in the same breath.
crap news...wow....loved him. rip
> When one is discussing the "legends" of CBS News, Katie Couric hardly can be mentioned in the same breath. I said reporter, not legend.
