I've been reading how dvd-a must be ran analog to handle all the information being sent and that coaxial or optical is not capable of doing this.My question is if 6 analogs are capable of holding so much more, then is it better to listen to your dvd-v tracks this way over a digital connection?

    No,

DVD-A supports higher resolution digital than DVD-V does. The existing digital interfaces can not carry this much data and the greedy recording studios will not allow a new interface to be used. This is why 6 channel analog connections must be used.
