6 ch Audio Interconnects (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I am trying to get some interconnects to connect the DVD-A player((Pioneer 563) to receiver(Denon 1804) for my brother. Since he lives outside US, cable cost is an important issue.

I am not sure what a patch cable is. Can these be used as interconnects(3 pairs)? Or are there any other recommendations for $20-30 (all six)?

I would go with these instead. Actually, those are what I used with my 563a. Of course, if you need longer lengths they'll cost a tad more.

Was there any issues with them? Did you hear any difference when(if) you changed cables? 'cos of the $ issues I am still trying to stick with the patch cable, so trying to see if there are any issues.

I don't really have anything to compare them to. I just bought what seemed like well constructed cables for the price. The patch cables seem a bit lacking on the shielding, especially if you have power cables running nearby.
