    Hi Forum
I have a Sony DAV-SR2 running 5.1. It has an additional line out socket for a centre rear channel to make 6.1.

My question is what would be a good centre rear speaker to compliment the rear Sonys (SS-TS20)? Also can you buy a single channel amp for the job or will it have to be a powered speaker. There seems to be a real lack of kit available for this job, I would by happy to buy Sonys but they do not seem to make/supply an amp or speaker designed for the job!

    Any suggestions? not too expensive......

Matching your current center is a good approach as well.

It will be interesting to get yoru impressions if/when you get this going.

I'm using a Wharfedale WH-2 bipole as the rear center surround and love the results. Pretty good compromise when you can't go 7.1, the rear bipole center spreads the sound quite nicely.
