6.1 set up help, rear center question (1 Viewer)

in my 6.1 setup, my rear center is not as loud as my left and right rear channels, what could this be? it seems like my sytem is louder with the 6.1 off than on. all the speakers are the same model going around so there shouldnt be any difference in output level please help with this?

Have you setup all your speakers using an SPL meter and a setup disc. If not this should be your first step.

Also depending on the soundtrack and the movie your rear surround will have different effects. It may be louder when listening to a movie in DTS ES DISCRETE and may seem lower when watching a movie in DTS ES MAtrix/DD EX.
