    I'm looking to upgrade to 6.1/7.1 in very cramped quarters. No ceiling mount is available. I'm supporting two listening positions (#1 and #2). Here's the rear setup:

    LS----3 ft.---> #1 #2

    Theres not alot of room to work with there. I think you are better off with a 5.1 setup, with dipoles set on the side walls.

    I recently set up a system where the listening positions were not centered and ended up with some Paradigm ADP 370 for the rears. These were very sucessful at dispersing the sound and retaining a great rear effect to all positions. Your application sounds just right for some dipoles too... Good luck.

    Donny: one or two ADP370's (6.1 or 7.1)? Or are you referring to a 5.1 system?

    Mark: understood, but I'm also trying to get more sound out of the center rear versus sounding like only left/right (depending on the listener) for center rear sounds.
