    Hello,

I am thinking of installing one Dahlquist QX20R rear back speaker, mounted i the center of the rear wall in my listenting room.

My receiver is a SONY ES STRDA4ES and is 7.1 capable.

How do you connect the rear "6.1" back speaker to the amp section??

There are two amp outputs one for back left and one for back right....do you just pick one because the information in EX/ES is tha same for both???

    Thanks in advance!

Yes I think you just pick 1 then in your receiver menu select 1 rear center.[IMG]

Many receivers and processors default to or suggest using the left output when using only one center back speaker. My owners manual for my processor states to use the left output for one surround back or center back speaker. Check your owners manual (if you already haven't) to be sure.

Marc, from the Audioshop in Ottawa, Canada replied to a email I sent him, he actually called SONY and they said to use the left channel amp out with one speaker for 6.1 center.

    Thanks!
