I'm deciding between these two sets. Does anyone know the real world differences between the two? The Toshiba website does not really go into this at all.
Sound from the set does not matter, I'll be using my receiver and speakers.
Is the X model worth the extra $$$ ?

The HX models have upgraded CRTs, lenses and an anti-glare screen. The price difference should be $200-$300.

It's definitely worth it in my opinion. The CRTs are designed to provide a consistent light output over a longer life span. The lenses make a very nice difference, especially with HD material, and the 'blackstripe' lenticular screen provides blacker-blacks, enhancing the illusion of depth.
