I'm moving into a new place right away and the set up looks like my computer will be in it's own room. I'm used to having the option of hooking it up to my reciever which is in the main room. For this I need somewhere in 50-100 foot cord. Where can I find this? And quality of cord doesn't mean much too me on this.
Thanks

Are you stuck using the optical? If possible use coax, its more durable. The fiber doesnt respond well to being rolled up or crimped. Very fragile. Sounds like you will be using it for a bit then rolling it up until the next use. If its your only option just be cautious where you put it so it doesnt get steped on etc.

...or try and find a source of telephone-grade glass fiber... that's very forgiving, although I've never seen it in a TosLink form..
