Does anybody know which manufacturers will ship their 50"ers with DVI and HDCP? If so who and when?

    I do know Toshiba's 50HP82 will.

I am a member of the Seldom Poster's League. Please don't let that fact preclude me from any responses.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

The new Sony model has it. I forget the model number but it is on the market right now.

The Pioneer 503cmx and Pro1000HD (essentially the same unit) have a card slot that allows the upgrade to DVI/HDCP. Aurora Mutlimedia is coming out with a card for it around 1/1/2003 that will have DVI/HDCP, and also Key Digital is coming out with one around Christmas.

Those two and the Toshiba pretty much sums it up for the time being.

No one wants HDCP. The concern is whether or not it will be required.
