    .....they just aren't on DVD!

I am sure this has been discussed.. well.. I know it has but just for the sake of it, here is my top 5 that I think should be on DVD, in no particular order.

    1) License To Drive (Feldman/Haim)
    2) The Chase (Sheen/Swanson)
    3) 3 O'Clock High
    4) Student Bodies (Classic 1981 (I Believe) Horror Spoof)
    5) Ford Fairlane (Andrew Dice Clay)

Might not be the best movies on the planet but to me, they all have something. Would hope if they EVER come out, they stay away from 2.0 and give me atleast 5.1.

    Opinions?? Your top 5?

    I sense a poll...

    1) Return of the Jedi
    2) Empire Strikes Back
    3) Star Wars
    4) Back to the Future
    5) Captain Ron

Two of those have announced release dates. Those with no planned release would be:

    1) Return of the Jedi
    2) Empire Strikes Back
    3) Star Wars
    4) Raiders of the Lost Ark
    5) (too late to think of a fifth one.)

This question does get asked a lot, but that's OK, because my list always changes as films on it actually get released. So, happily, this time I won't list Back to the Future, The Thin Man or Hopscotch. [IMG]
    In no particular order:
    The African Queen
    Star Wars
    To Have & Have Not
    To Catch a Thief
    Raiders of the Lost Ark

The Lubitsch Touch - I'm cheating and mentioning a boxset of 6 ( or 7 ) of Ernst Lubitsch's films. Originally released on Laserdisc; I'd love to see a re-release on DVD.
The Miracle of Morgan's Creek - My favorite film by Preston Sturges.
In A Lonely Place - Contains perhaps the best performance of Bogart's career.
    Hamlet - Branaugh's 1996 version.
Once Upon A Time In The West - I have the LD, but would like to see a restored DVD release.
( There are too many classic noirs that are still unreleased to bother listing any of them. [IMG] )
    - Walter.
