5.1 Hook-up To Yammie 5760? (1 Viewer)

My 5.1 speaker system will be shipped tomorrow. That's a good thing because I can't figure out the confusing Yammie manual (just purchased 5760) re how to hook up the speakers.

Question: are the rear speakers in a 5.1 system hooked up as surround right and left (SR & SL) or as surround BACK right and left (SBR & SBL)?

Easy answer Mike. It must be hooked up as the surround left and right. The surround backs are only if you have speakers connected to the surround and left and right, in other words, it's for a 7.1 hookup.
