4K and UHD Help Needed (1 Viewer)

Forgive my ignorance please. But Are 4k and UHD the Same thing ? Or are they 2 separate formats? I was looking at the formats for Star Wars this morning and thought I Saw 4k and 4k UHD Versions.

Same thing.

HD is 1920x1080 and UHD is double each dimension, or 3840x2160. Since the 3840 dimension is so close to 4,000, it#’ also called 4K.
