The information of AVR-4806 is finally available at Denon website:

... and indeed it uses the same Burr-Brown PCM-1791 DACs (and same number of DACs) as the AVR-3805. 4806 now uses THREE NEW DSP by TI (as in 5805?) instead of the Analog Device's Hammerhead (used in 3805). Wonder how the 4806 sounds comparing to 3805???

Drool.. as a very happy for more than 3 years now 4802 owner, I'll bet the 4806 kicks some serious butt!!!

Pretty big jump from 38xx series to 48xx series and higher in the Denon lines in general.
