I have purchased a infocus 4805 fp and have a Samsung P721M DVD player with progressive scan. The question I have is this, the dvd player has 525i (480i) output and a 525p (480p)output for video which should I use please help.It does not have a dvi or hdmi output from dvd player but 4805 has dvi input. What is the difference in the two outputs? Thanks.

The 4805 actually has an M1 input. It's basically DVI + USB so you can connect a mouse to control the PC it's hooked up to (for business). It also allows Infocus to make some more money from the sale of adapters and such. [IMG]

Just connect via component and see which gives the better picture: 480i or 480p. The 4805 has a pretty good de-interlacer as well.
