On the right side of my screen there is a red hue that can be best seen when a DVD displays a black screen. Would this problem typically be fixed by a 64 pt. convergence, or does it point to a larger problem? Thanks,
Rob

Greetings
This problem is usually fixed with a tweak called lens striping. The Keohihdtv site provides more information about that.
A "good" ISF guy should know how to deal with this problem ... lickity split. :)

Additional suggestions:
1. Red scan line showing all the time but off the screen due to overscan.
1a. See if service menu has electronic matting, which is used to get rid of things like this.
1b. Line inside of cabinet with black velvet or Duvetyne(tm).
2. Red CRT is dimly lit instead of off for "black"
2a. See if service menuhas separate control for black level for each CRT.
