4-year old Toshiba 4:3 RPTV won't turn on (1 Viewer)

Since I'm having trouble contacting Tech Support on this issue I thought I'd ask some of you experts out there. I have this RPTV that has worked flawlessly for 4 years. Today it decided that it did not want to turn on. Instead I get a flashing power indicator light. I've unplugged and re-plugged, I hear a click and then it goes back to flashing the light. I have looked around the set and there is no Reset switch to be found. Any idea what could be wrong?

While I cannot tell you exactly, it is a job for the repair people and the problem is not a major killer like crt replacement.

A relay or resistor or capcitor has failed ... most likely.
