I'm working on the design for a 4 cubic foot titanic mkII vented enclosure and am trying to figure out how much I should brace it. I have looked over the designs for the shiva enclosures on Adire's site and they appear to go overkill on the bracing. I've done searches on these forums but most people seem to just say look at Adire's plans and copy that.

Do you folks think that using one "top to bottom-side to side" brace would be enough? MDF is awfully solid, and I just can't see myself wanting to brace anymore than once, especially considering the precision cutting that is needed to make sure the brace fits just perfectly into the enclosure. I feel like this single brace will be enough since it does brace the side of the enclosure that the speaker will be mounted on, and that's the side that would be most prone to flexing. Does anyone disagree? Thanks!
