    Hey guys,

This is a stupid question, but how can I configure my 5.1 Yamaha 5730 receiver to output the same stereo sound levels to all four of my speakers? The house we bought has 4 Boston Acoustics in-ceiling speakers (all the same size). We mostly listen to music only on these speakers, and I can only get the front 2 to play music.

Is this user error and my set-up is messed up, or is it not even possible to split the sound to all four speakers with this receiver?

    Thanks in advance...!

    George

Why are you only using 4 speakers? That is a 5-channel receiver (FL,FR,C,RR,LR). Which 4 do you have hooked up?

Set the reciever to 5 channel stereo or pro logic 2 if you have that option which on a yamaha you should.
