3DO predicts death of XBOX, Microsoft buys 3DO (1 Viewer)

Microsoft, among others, will be bidding on the assets of 3DO, which include:

High Heat Baseball
Army Men
Uprising
Four Horse of the Apocolypse
Street Racing Syndicate
Might and Magic

Unlike the purchases of Bungie and Rare, they can only buy assets, not development houses, since 3DO is dead. So, what would benefit Microsoft most? I'm guessing they will rename their baseball game High Heat, try to revive the Army Men franchise, ...

The only thing I care about in that list is Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Saw some previews of that game and I would really hate to see it get canceled, it looks promising.

I agree. Certainly, Microsoft isn't going to pay major $$$ for another installment of those little green men, are they?

Here's hoping 'The Horsemen' see the light of day.
