3803 Pure Direct and channel level sub off? (1 Viewer)

I have had my 3803 for some time and listen to music in pure direct with the sub off via that input. My question is this I guess I have always assumed when you turn the sub off in Pure Direct mode that the 3803 changes the mains to large is this correct?

Yes, in either Direct or Pure Direct, no matter the setting in the Speaker setup menu, the mains receive fullrange signals. This is the case with or without the sub being on...
