I'm trying to get everything calibrated. Got my Rat Shack SPL meter on a tripod and all is dandy.

I want to calibrate to 85db using Avia, but the only way to get to the "set channel levels" screen on the 3803 is to let the receiver play it's OWN tones.

Is there a way to turn the tones off, but still be able to adjust the channels?

Currently, I'm calibrated to 75db (78db on the sub :D) using the 3803's tones.

I want to do it right and use Avia though. Help.

use the remote's "CH SELECT/ENTER" button to cycle through your speakers, and the left and right arrow buttons on either side of it to adjust the levels

Thank you, ScottCHI!!! :) I pressed every button except that one. ;) Something so simple....so easily overlooked!

It's only 1015 here...gotta wait a little while for the neighbors to wake up before I start calibrating at 85db. :rolleyes
