I've had my 36FV15 for about two years and it has performed flawlessly until about two days ago when it just shutdown randomly.
I've left the TV on overnight and throughout the day to test it and it has done this two or three times after remaining powered on for several hours. It just shuts off for no reason at random intervels.
I have Sony coming out to repair the unit tomorrow, but just wondering if anyone has seen this before and if they have what they did about it.
I'm trying to remain calm, but this is really frustrating. These sort of random problems are difficult to diagnois. I have a sinking feeling that the repair tech will come out power up the TV and say "Nope, nothing wrong here..." and leave. Of course 5 minutes after he leaves it will shutoff.
I've unplugged the TV with dim hopes of "resetting" it, but I'm not holding my breath.
