I hope I'm not flooding the forum with this personal request, but it's like this:
I have a thing (like an OCD or something ), by which I like to watch films relevant to the season we are in.
So, it's difficult for me to watch a summer movie in winter or vice versa etc.
Out of all the seasons, I love winter most and wintery films, so I'd appreciate it if anyone'd like to suggest movies from the timeframe I say in the thread title, which are very wintery with possibly heavy snow all over the film (not just one scene or 2). Films like McCabe and Mrs. Miller (although I haven't seen it, but I LOVE the atmosphere I see in the trailer and screenshots)
Of course I have searched around about this, like this excellent list:
http://www.bfi.org.uk/news-opinion/news-bfi/lists/10-great-films-set-wintertime
(hope Track of the Cat comes soon on Bluray, really liked that)
but i started this thread since I'm sure the well film-educated HTF members will suggest something that has missed my radar.
All genres are welcomed (except perhaps obscure horror b-movies, exploitation, giallo and such stuff) and all counties' films.
