I just received 5 DTS DVD from CD Japan and the first one I put in my DVD player is the DTS 3000 miles to Graceland. I was so surprised that this DVD is a full bitrate DTS and it sounds incredible. A lot of tight bass, the music in the movie is full and excellent. The gunfight scene in the casino is speechless with gunshot firing everywhere. Comparing to dolby digital DVD that I also have, the sonic nowhere can compare to this DTS DVD from Japan. Highly recommend everyone to purchase this full bittrate DTS DVD and thank you to CD Japan for fast service. I will listen to the other 4 DVDs and post reviews later.

The video graphics is as good as the Region 1 if not better. I check the video bitrate and it is the same as region 1. But the sound is much better since this DVD has a lot of music so it is great to enjoy music

Marc_E can you post reviews for all those DVD's? Especially a direct comparison between the R1 version of Predator and the R2.

    I'll do my best.
    A couple quick impressions:
Soldier DTS (full bitrate) sound is fantastic. Thick rich sounding gunfire and explosions. I have the R1 DD5.1 which is a very good 5.1 by the way but the DTS is much better.
Jumanji: my daughter and I just watched it. DTS is real rich. WHen the lion first appears in you hear that real thick low growl, the floor rumble BIG. Unfortunatly I have nothing to compare this to. I will try to give a bit of depth later

There are quite a few DTS titles available in Japan. Sleepy Hollow is full bitrate. Way of the Gun is DTS there too.
