Does anyone make a 300-500 disk progressive scan on-screen DVD player? Thanks
Josh, check out the Sony DVP-CX875P. It holds 300 DVDs and sells for around $400-500. You should be able to get it at a good discount through Oade Bros. (1-229-228-0093 or 1-229-228-4480), OneCall (1-800-340-4770), or J&R Music World (1-800-221-8180), all of which are authorized dealers. For more on the 'CX875P, go to www.crutchfield.com . Also look at the Kenwood Sovereign DV-5050M and '5900M. Both hold 403 discs. They have gotten good reviews on the video side (no chroma bug), and the '5900M plays DVD-Audio discs. Go to crutchfield.com for more on these players. Note that Kenwood does not authorize mail-orders sales of its Sovereign products. On a final note, no one has made a 500-disc changer of any kind (CD or DVD). The largest capacity made thus far is 403 discs (the aforementioned Kenwood models). Sony makes a couple 400-disc CD megachangers.
Josh, no problem. Best of luck in your search.
