I'd enjoy the opportunity to purchase the following 20th Century-Fox films on Blu Ray:

Great Expectations - 1998
The Little Princess - 1939
The Blue Bird - 1940
The Best of Everything - 1959
Three Coins in the Fountain - 1954
Peyton Place - 1957
Anastasia - 1956
The Rose - 1979

Check Screen Archives Entertainment, they sell fox blu Ray movies. They have "theBest of Everything" and Peyton place.

I reviewed Wild River back in the day. It can be found here.

Fox never sent me Von Ryan's Express, much to my dismay.
The consensus opinion on Von Ryan's Express Blu-ray is that it's terrible. IMO, it's more like mediocre, but generally, I'm more forgiving than some posters regarding video presentations.

Luckily the 3 Doris Day titles are on region free blu from Germany so I was able to add them to my collection. I’d love to get Star! but I fear that ship may have sunk at the dock since the work wasn’t done on it before Disney bought Fox. Selfishly, I wish they had done the work on Star! before they did Doctor Dolittle. But I’m grateful for all the great transfers Fox put out. I just hope it’s not the end of the line for them.

Family Business - good DVD release but cheap German Blu-Ray that doesn't even give me Widescreen; directed by Sidney Lumet and stars Sean Connery, Dustin Hoffman and Matthew Broderick; father, son and grandson (yes, I know it's a tough sell to buy Dustin Hoffman as Sean Connery's son but somehow it works!) plan an armed robbery together in what I believe to be an under-rated black comedy/drama. Absolutely crying out for a comprehensive Criterion/Arrow release.

Pacific Heights - directed by John Schlesinger and stars Michael Keaton, Matthew Modine and Melanie Griffith; Keaton plays a psychotic problem tenant to a young couple who have just bought their first home and spent thousands renovating it; set in San Francisco as the title implies and has all the wonderful cinematography you would expect from the guy who directed Midnight Cowboy. Very limited Fox DVD release and Korean DVD release that lacks Widescreen; thoroughly deserves the Arrow treatment.

SO many great choices that my wallet is now hiding in the closet, in case a lot of these come out at
once. My hope is that the musicals and Biblical epics are Blu-Rayed first, but that's just me. Really,
any of these titles would be more than welcome.

We can hope that Disney will license many of these titles to Kino or Shout Factory once the home video divisions are consolidated.

Even though it's tough going these days for historical or biblical movie fans, I'd love to see The Story of Ruth (H Koster), Esther and the King (R Walsh), Francis of Assisi (M Curtiz) and the elusive Sodom and Gomorrah (R Aldrich). Word was that Twilight Time had wanted to do Sodom but the materials at Fox were just too shoddy. A nice print must exist somewhere overseas as the German widescreen DVD by Black Hill of 2004 suggests. Anyone hear of foreign BD releases of any of these?

Like Ed I’d love to see the historical epics all the movies with the CinemaScope logo and music on come to Blu Ray.
I’ve a number of really good Blu Rays off of HD television transmissions, like The Egyptian, Three Coins In A Fountain, Move Over Darling, Von Ryan’s Express, Hell and High Water, Carmen Jones, Daddy Long Legs, The Bravados, Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines..
Most are better quality than the available Blu Rays. In France I picked up superb quality copies of Demetrius and the Gladiators, Mr Hobbs Takes A Vacation, The Girl in The Red Velvet Swing, and a really bad one of Desirée. The Rains of Ranchipur isn’t great either, neither is Boy on A Dolphin.
Seven Thieves is out on Blu now though I was disappointed with it, and I got a copy of Between Heaven and Hell which is fine, though not great.Guns at Batasi is coming next month.
Off of non HD transmissions I’ve seen The River’s Edge, Circle of Deception, April Love, Peyton Place, all but Circle in the right format off of good prints.
The best quality Blu Rays I’ve bought are the R1 release of The Comancheros, gorgeous to look at, as are also R2 releases of Broken Lance, Journey to The Centre Of The Earth, The Long Hot Summer, and The Left Hand Of God.
Sodom and Gomorrah has been broadcast a number of times, but the print has always been pretty bad!
If only Fox would take as much care as possible on all their releases as they did on The Long Hot Summer.
I’m longing for films like The Fiercest Heart, and The Story Of Ruth to make it onto High Definition, and of course, The Virgin Queen, that had a beautiful print transmitted a few years ago before I had a Blu Ray recorder!
I live in hope.

Sodom and Gomorrah has been transmitted a number of times on UK tv, but the print has been pretty bad.

Forgot to add Stopover Tokyo, bought, The Last Wagon on a great tv transmission, and DDay the 6th June on a bad SD transmission.

Available from company ESC on amazon.fr I’ve tracked down Rains of Ranchipur (La Mousson), From The Terrace, A High Wind In Jamaica, Heaven Knows Mr Alison, The Barbarian and the Geisha, and House of Strangers. Why these should be available to France and no-one else isbeyond me!
