2nd best sub

    what is the 2nd best sub? i kno that sys is the best but what is 2nd? And which line of paragidm speakers are the best? reference? What other speakers are really good? i dont care about price. Klipsch is good too right. whataver. Thanks

    The Paradigm servo15 is a good unit,yes. The pw2200 is also very good.

    The *best* subwoofer(and thus the 2nd best)can only be determined by matching your performance requirements with your budget and system/room.

    In other words, your *best* may not be the next's guy *best*.

    Well, SVS is definitely up there in subs. Other notable sub companies include:

    Velodyne

    Hsu Research

    Paradigm

    The Paradigm Reference is their top line, the Monitor is their mid line, and the Performance (I think) is their entry line.

    Klipsch is a well-respected brand, but they have a particular sound, as they use horn-loaded tweeters. YOu'll have to see if you like that.

    If you "don't care about price" then check out the huge speakers by Dunlavy. They are amazing. Also, you could consider totally active speakers, like from Genelec and Linn.
