$285 for a factory refurbished Panasonic XP30

    Maybe you should wait for the new crop of players coming out in a couple of months.

    That's a high price for a refurbished unit, especially considering this model sold new for less than $200 when it was readily available.

    I had a RP-82( $188.00 died after 13 mos) and now a 55 (129.00 need dvdaudio) and that will probably be my last panasonic. $285.00 Sounds like a lot of dough for a refurb to me YMMV![​IMG]

    Thanks, guys. I almost succumbed to the XP30 insanity. Though it's arguably one of the best players out there right now, I just couldn't stomach paying $285 for a refurb that was probably bought for $149.

    I'll wait and see... too bad once the upgrade bug bites, you gotta scratch!
