24/96-192 Receiver recommendations anyone? (1 Viewer)

I currently have a JVC RX-778 receiver, and am looking to replace it with a DVD-Audio capable receiver which is capable of nicely handling the 24/96-192 rate. I have Yamaha in mind, so if their are other recommendations please list them. BTW, I have a $500.00 limit.

Since there is currently no way of getting the DVD-Audio to a receiver in digital form, the reciever's DAC capabilities are moot for DVD-A.

The same holds true for DSD-based sources like Sony/Philips' SACD technology.
