I have a seald version of this sub , it is the Adire .577 alignment. Now i want to port this, but i don't know if i can fit flares in there because the design is different than the vented designs. Will it be ok if i go with straight pipes and how big would the ports have to be?

My 214L tempests were ported with a section of 6" sonotube but depending on how you built yours 6" might not fit lenght wise. If you go with 4" you'd have to make sure it was flared on both ends which as you say might be an issue for you...why is that BTW?

well, mine is 24x24x31, and the reason i think the flares might not fit is because the holes in the braces are aligned differently than the vented boxes and i am leading to believe that the flares have to go through those holes,or am i mistaken??

how long was the 6" port, i think i might be able to accomodate one, do i need 1 or 2?
