I've been watching taped recordings of The Pretender from TNT and am aching for Season 2 this year. Season 3 and 4 would be nice this year, too, but at the very least Season 2. I hope sales of Season 1 were enough to justify releasing subsequent seasons.

As mentioned in another thread in the Film and Documentary page:

    Harry and Tonto

This one is long overdue for a release. It won Art Carney an Oscar for Best Actor, and it's simply one of the best and most underrated movies of the '70's.

I’m with that Sunny, inaccessible Pellucidar Member, in wanting:
THE GUNFIGHTER (1950) with Gregory Peck.

And like Scott David, I’m still hoping for:
HARRY AND TONTO (1974) starring Art Carney.

Other than those two, Where is the :
    FLIM-FLAM MAN (1967) with George C. Scott ,
    Or:
WHO IS HARRY KELLERMAN AND WHY IS HE SAYING THOSE AWFUL THINGS ABOUT ME (1971) starring Dustin Hoffman.

Those are the movies I’m still looking for from 20th Century Fox. How long must we wait, oh Lord? How long?

"THE GUNFIGHTER" is available in a R4 edition.

I'll toss an obscure title into the mix that is a favorite of mine (I love airplane movies). How about releasing "Fate is the Hunter".

THE VISIT This is a fantastic film. Every body I show it to is blown away by the performances of Bergman and Quinn. It looks fantastic in super sharp black and white and CinemaScope. Fox, you really need to wake up to the treasures you have in your vaults. Other gems you could put to DVD are:

    INFERNO
    BLACK WIDOW (1954)
    THE RAINS OF RANCHIPUR
    THE DEEP BLUE SEA (1955)
    23 PACES TO BAKER STREET
    WOMAN'S WORLD

ANY any of your Technicolor musicals from the Forties.....
