I am taking it that was a joke?...
i don't see any joke there. ur "follow up" reply comes next after the mention of Gravity and ALIENs.
u should have made it clear that "2 titles from Sony mentioned above". then, there's no way for subsequent posts to have any chance of misunderstandings...

... As you are aware, this is a Fox title and as you are also aware, Disney has no love for putting catalog titles on 4k.
well... there's one way to tackle with such situation...
that's with copyright owned by the production companies.
Regency can simply call for halt of release of HEAT as well as their other productions, even though the demand is high. however, Regency seems to be giving in to Disney-FOX to make selective choices.

LightStorm Entertainment can do the same to their hits... by forbidding Disney to lay a single hand on any of their hot selling products for homevideo release, that also includes streaming media... if Disney-FOX is looking to put Avatar 2&3 to streaming platform and homevideo.

That post was edited which initially had two Sony titles before the poster replaced them with Gravity and Aliens. Ron responded to those two Sony titles before they were edited out.

Well, it seems that there's a great deal of films coming out on 4K next year, but what about television series? There's been a few mentioned: Adventures of Batman, I Love Lucy (both on blue ray). But c'mon people, just a few unreleased series.

Anybody want to guess what boxed sets might come out for NEXT Christmas?
