IMO, after watching "Minari" and "Nomadland" the last couple of days, I think "Minari" should have won Best Picture and Viola Davis should have won Best Actress.

I've seen 5 of the 8 BP noms - missing "Chicago 7", "Metal" and "Mank" - and "PYW" and Mulligan remain my BP/Best Actress picks...

Finally finished it. It took me 6 months and God knows how many sittings to finish this.

I was most surprised by the In Memoriam section. Normally I know like 3-4 people, this time I knew so many of them. Also kind of shocking seeing Sean Connery. I'm sure I must have seen the news but it was erased completely from my memory. Also many other people who I thought are still alive. Liked the music of this section because it was a little more upbeat rather than just sad.
