Main reason it bombed is Liam dipped himself in hot water right as movie was opening.
That can't have helped but how many 'Liam Neeson kills a bunch of dudes' movies does the audience need?Main reason it bombed is Liam dipped himself in hot water right as movie was opening.
Right, he's been recycling the same "kills a bunch of dudes" concept since Taken. That can't have helped but how many 'Liam Neeson kills a bunch of dudes' movies does the audience need?

At least "CP" offers a twist on that genre - it's not as straightforward a "Liam kills people" movie as the others.
But it doesn't appear as such in the marketing. It looks the same as the others, so what distinguishes it is not really clear from the ads.
I'm still happy it's a departure from that routine for Neeson...
Sure, but if it is, that's a marketing failure, since it was on the marketing to explain to audiences why this one is different and worth going to see. How are we supposed to know it's not Taken 47 if the trailer doesn't show us what makes it new?
And there’s also no way to know if the approach would have been successful were it not for Neeson’s press tour.

I was mixed on the film too. Split was by far the best film in the trilogy.
You’re right. Sorry. Meant to say ABSOLUTE BEST!Hey Tino, you might want to check your computer. It autocorrected "worst" to come out as "best".
Hope you get that fixed soon!
